Jesus says, “the last will be first and the first will be last,” in this parable from Matthew 19:30-20:16.

This Arch Book tells the parable of the workers in the vineyard. The master went out in search of workers, gathering men from the morning to the evening and sending them to work. At the end of the day, the men hired last were paid the same wage as the men who worked all day! Jesus reminds the crowd that they will all earn the reward of heaven, whether they have faith in Him from the beginning or right at the end.
