The Seeds That Grew and Grew

$3.49

Jesus tells the parable of the seeds that fell upon good and bad ground and compares the seeds to God’s Word and how it is received as in Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23.

Jesus tells many parables to help explain God’s Word to people then and us as we read it now. In this story, Jesus talks about seeds thrown upon ground that are eaten by birds, dried up by the sun, and choked by thorns. But some seeds fell on good soil and grew to produce lots of grain for the farmer. If the seeds represent God’s Word, we need to be like the good soil that helps God’s Word to grow in new believers.
