Baby Jesus is purified at the temple by Simeon and Anna in Luke 2:21-40.

After baby Jesus was born, Mary and Joseph brought Him to the temple to be purified. A man named Simeon and a prophetess called Anna were there to meet Him. They were both overjoyed at the chance to meet the Messiah within their lifetimes. While we didn’t get to meet Jesus while He was on earth, we will rejoice at His second coming when He takes us to heaven with Him.
