God promised Abraham and Sarah a son, whom they named Isaac in this story based on Genesis 15:1-6, 17:15-19, 21:1-7, and 22:1-18.

Though Abraham and Sarah were too old to have kids, God promised them a son. They were filled with joy and loved Isaac greatly. One day, God tested Abraham and told him to sacrifice Isaac as an offering to Him. Abraham was faithful and trusted in God, and God spared Isaac’s life. God always has a plan, even if we can’t see it at first. We should continue to trust in Him and know that He is there for us.
