The first book in a series about military vehicles used by Australia during the Second World War. The subject of Volume 1 is Trucks ¼ ton (jeeps) and trailers, and covers the Australian acquisition, uses and modifications of jeeps and trailers both during and post-WW2. Included are several technical appendices including the Australian field specification sheets for each model (MB, GPW and GPA), plus the various kits developed in Australia such as the welder and generator conversions.
The book is hard cover, A4 (12 x 8.5 inches) size, 233 pages with 370 images accompanied by detailed captions.
