Soviet Trucks of WW2 in Red Army and Wehrmacht Service - Tankograd 2007
The Soviet Union had a relatively standardised military vehicle park at the outbreak of the Second World War, consisting primarily of GAZ and ZiS vehicles. These trucks were simple to produce in massive numbers and were straightforward to operate and maintain in military service. This book reviews the standard Soviet built wheeled military transport vehicles used by the Soviet Union during the Second World War, of which little has hitherto been written in the West, and the widespread use of the GAZ and ZiS trucks in the German Wehrmacht.
