The historic Carson & Colorado Railroad began life as a subsidiary of the famous Virginia & Truckee Railroad in 1880. In 1900 the Southern Pacific bought the line. This book presents a collection of detailed rosters, newly drawn plans, diagrams, and a very large collection of photographs of the narrow gauge locomotives of the C&S, the Nevada & California and the Southern Pacific narrow Gauge.
