In the town of Jericho, Zacchaeus was known as a crooked tax collector. He cheated people out of money and was hated by the town. Jesus chose Zacchaeus’ home to eat at, but the people thought he wasn’t worthy of the Lord’s presence. Jesus changed Zacchaeus’ heart and he became a generous man, giving back to the poor and returning more than what he stole.
