Jesus teaches the Pharisees the parable of the lost coin based on Luke 15:8-10.

In the parable of the lost coin a woman rejoices after finding one coin that she lost, even though she had nine other coins. She took time and care to find the one that was missing, just like Jesus cares for each one of us. The woman rejoices like God rejoices when a lost person turns to Him.
